London getaway
London somehow has fought it`s way into my heart and there we were - on a four-day adventure in London. It all came very unexpected - one day I was throwbacking to the trip to London in 2016 on Instagram, a few days later my friend Santa invited me to accompany her on a small adventure there with Aleksandra and the tickets were in a pocket just like that. As I have already visited some touristy places there, this time we decided to look for some quieter and less crowded hidden gems. I would say that we pretty much succeeded in that regard.
Searching for Paddington bear in Paddington station, Holland park and all the friendly doggos there, mornings with stomach filling crumpets, trip to the Sky Garden with epic views, a small taste of art galleries, cafes-cafes-cafes, Barbican centre in it`s brutalist glory, bookstores filled with the special scent of books, strolling through some beautiful shops and tasting different kind of hot chocolate, stopping by some Instagrammable spots and in the end - drinking lattes with a central view to Little Venice on a sunny morning before departing (sounds romantic, I know, but, to be honest, on our way to airport we did not feel well :D). It may not seem like much, but it was experience worth experiencing and enjoying.
I ended up taking photos mostly on my iPhone, so this gallery is going to be mix of pictures shot both on my Nikon and iPhone. Say yes to the adventures and let`s dive into the getaway from Latvian winter to British spring!
